DesiPlat (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates as a sole proprietorship in India and provides digital DPDP readiness assessments, benchmarking tools, and documentation templates.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

We may collect:

  • Email address

  • Phone number (if provided)

  • Company name and website

  • Organizational details (industry, size, business model)

  • Assessment responses

  • Payment confirmation metadata from third-party gateways

We do not store card, banking, or wallet credentials.


3. Purpose of Processing

We process personal data for:

  • Generating assessment reports

  • Delivering purchased documentation packs

  • Transactional communication

  • Maintaining service and audit records

  • Platform performance improvement

We do not sell personal data.


4. Aggregated & Anonymized Analytics

We may use anonymized and aggregated assessment responses to generate statistical insights, benchmarking reports, or industry research materials.

Such outputs:

  • Will not identify any individual or organization

  • Will not include direct or indirect identifiers

  • Will be based only on irreversibly anonymized data

Once anonymized, such data is no longer treated as personal data.


5. Lawful Basis

Processing is based on:

  • Consent provided at the time of submission

  • Performance of a digital service transaction

Personal data is retained only as long as necessary for:

  • Legal, accounting, and tax compliance

Certain minimal transaction records (such as invoice details) may be retained as required by applicable law, even if deletion is requested.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing already completed.
